The Mwanihana Trail is an exciting trek of several days to the highest peak in the Udzungwa Mountains National Park, Mwanihana Peak. Witha guide and a rangeer with you for information and protection, you will camp out under the rainforest canopy along the way, and sleep under canvas lulled by the sounds of the African night. Trekking this deep into the forest gives you a good chance of seeing elephant, and a varied range of primates from the endemic Iringa Red Colobus to the common Blue Monkey.
